Service Agreements and Quotes
All restoration and maintenance services are provided subject to individual service agreements established following initial consultation and assessment. The service process includes:
Quotation Process
Quotes are provided following assessment of furniture condition and client requirements. Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Quotes are estimates based on visible conditions at the time of assessment and may be subject to adjustment if additional issues are discovered during restoration work. Any significant variations will be communicated and require client approval before proceeding.
Acceptance of Services
Acceptance of a quote and commencement of services constitutes agreement to the terms outlined in the service agreement, including scope of work, pricing, payment terms, and completion timelines. Changes to agreed services must be documented in writing and may result in pricing or timeline adjustments.
Service Timelines
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith based on current workload and typical project timelines. Actual completion may be affected by factors including material availability, weather conditions, unforeseen complications, or client-requested modifications. We will notify clients promptly of any anticipated delays and work to minimize schedule impacts.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are established in individual service agreements and typically include the following provisions:
- Residential Services: Deposit of 30-50% may be required upon acceptance of quote, with balance due upon completion and client approval of work
- Commercial Services: Payment terms are negotiated based on contract scope and may include monthly billing, milestone payments, or net 30-day terms for established clients
- All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include GST unless otherwise specified
- Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, credit card, and other methods as agreed
- Late payment may result in interest charges of 2% per month on overdue balances or suspension of ongoing services
- Disputed charges must be raised within 14 days of invoice date with specific details of the dispute
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials with the following warranty provisions:
Workmanship Warranty
All restoration work is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of service completion. This warranty covers structural repairs, joinery work, and finish application when furniture is maintained and used in accordance with our care recommendations.
Materials Warranty
Materials including timber, hardware, and finishing products are warranted according to manufacturer specifications. We will repair or replace defective materials within the warranty period at no additional cost.
Warranty Limitations
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, accidents, misuse, modifications by others, extreme weather events, or failure to follow care instructions. Warranties are void if repairs or modifications are performed by unauthorized parties.
Liability and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, the following liability limitations apply:
Service Limitations
While we exercise professional skill and care in all restoration work, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for heavily damaged or deteriorated furniture. Some items may be beyond economical repair, and we will advise clients of limitations during assessment.

Our total liability for any claims arising from services provided is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, incidental, or special damages including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or loss of use.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, supplier failures, or government actions.
Consumer Law
